MDesign — Brussels

I think about your business. And the person who visits it.

Before I open Figma, I want to get to know you — and the people you're speaking to.

About

For a long time, I was just the customer looking for something on a website — not the one building it.

As a customer, I once felt lost. I went to a website looking for a product, but it was too cluttered — hard to find what I was looking for, hard to follow the steps to order. That was the moment that got me thinking.

Before that, I'd been wondering how I could contribute and help people. A free 7-day web design course showed up right around then — a beautiful coincidence that showed me how I could contribute.

Wanting to learn by doing, not just in theory, I then followed Flux Academy's free course on YouTube and practiced as much as I could. My projects — Momma's Corner, Elite Transfer Brussels, and Leaning Merit — were born from that desire to learn, and from wanting each project to show how I think about my client's client: the person who lands on a website.

I built all of this after long night shifts driving. More often than not, in the morning after a shift, I'd stay up another 2 to 4 hours working on projects instead of sleeping.

I want to help people access a service or product more easily, with less friction — and help businesses become easier to understand, so owners can grow, with the help of their digital business card.

Three projects. Three ways of thinking.

None of them were for a real client — they're my own projects, through which I learned to think about my client's client: the person who lands on a website, not just the one who'd give me a brief.

How I go from a conversation to a website

How I go from a conversation to a website.

  1. 01 Listen

I listen. You tell me about your business: why it started, what you're proud of, what's on your mind right now.

  2. 02 Look

I look at what you already have: your current website, if there is one, the people you speak to, what others in your field are already doing.

  3. 03 Sketch

I put ideas on paper, literally or as a simple sketch, before opening Figma for the final design.

  4. 04 Build

I turn the sketch into a website that's clear, fast, and built for the person who lands on it.

I don't open Figma before understanding what we're building, and for whom.

Tell me about your business

Does your website bring you the clients you want?

Tell me about your business. I'd like to know what you're building, where you are now, and where you want to go.

A simple landing page starts from ~€400-600 and takes about 2 weeks, from our first conversation to launch. For bigger projects, we'll figure out a price together that fits their scope.

I usually reply within 24-48 hours.
